Thank you to everyone who participated in Quest 2! With over 300,000 participants, we’re excited to see what the next Quest will bring! We want to emphasize that Quests are a long-term loyalty program, and you should expect many Quests in the foreseeable future.

Let the Games Begin!
Like the previous Quests, we’re partnering with the Sui Foundation to offer another big reward for participants: up to 5M SUI. As before, the rewards will be distributed after Quest 3 ends on November 9th, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
Don't forget: you can see a list of the participating dApps, as well as keep track of your score on the Quest 3 Leaderboard, by heading to the Quest Portal.
QuestPass
So that anyone can enjoy the Quest experience, we’re excited to announce a new feature in Quest 3 – the QuestPass! Thanks to the magic of sponsored transactions, current Questers can share a QuestPass (an NFT that will show up in your wallet) with friends via a referral link obtained from the Quests Portal – allowing those without a SuiFren to earn points in Quest 3!
The QuestPass enables anyone, regardless of their prior exposure to Sui or SuiFrens, the opportunity to join, compete, and win SUI rewards!
To claim a QuestPass, make sure you have a web3 wallet, and are connected to the Quests Portal before clicking the link.

As usual, you can join the Quest at any time during the Quest period, but to be eligible for rewards you must achieve some basic conditions and you must continue to own either a SuiFren or QuestPass throughout the Quest period.

A Special SuiNS Promotion
As part of our ongoing efforts to show our appreciation for Questers and SuiFrens holders, we are introducing the biggest promotion ever for SuiNS!
During the initial seven days of Quest 3 (October 12 to October 19), SuiFrens owners will be able to obtain one .sui name (of 10+ characters) for free! One SuiFren can redeem one .sui name using this promotion.
Additionally, for the duration of Quest 3, SuiFrens holders will enjoy 50% off .sui names between 5 - 9 characters, and 10% off .sui names shorter than 5 characters.
Head to SuiNS to take advantage of this promotion. Note that SuiFrens holders must connect with the wallet address that contains their SuiFren to use the promotion.
Special Quest Point Mechanisms
How to score in each game is detailed above. Here’s a brief overview of the Quest 3 mechanisms.
Point Multipliers and One Time Boosts
For every new dApp you interact with (except SuiNS), you will earn 100 points. So the total reward for interacting with each dApp is 900 points.
There are three possible point multipliers available in Quest 3:
Loyalty: 15% point boost for addresses that have remained active on Sui in the month after Quest 2 ended. Thanks for being a loyal Sui community member!
SuiNS: 15% point boost for addresses with linked default .sui names – please note that the point boost is only applied to an address on the days when it has an associated .sui name
SuiFrens: 10% point boost for addresses on days that they hold more than one SuiFren.
And yes – these multipliers can stack for a total point multiplier of 1.45x!
Daily Caps, Diminishing Returns, and Score Normalization
We want to design the Quest leaderboard in a way that encourages fair gameplay and discourages burnouts, so we listened to, and incorporated, your feedback from previous Quests. As such, we’ve implemented daily caps for freemium games and diminishing returns for paid games. We’ve also included score normalization to accommodate for dApps that are “easier” to game. For more details, please refer to the “How to Earn Points” section.
Shinami’s Invisible Wallet FTW
A few participating games, namely Arcade Champions, Panzerdog, Run Legends, World Beyond, and Bushi, utilize Shinami’s Invisible Wallet, Sui Node Service, and Gas Station. To ensure all your rewardable activities are tracked, please remember to follow each game’s instructions on how to connect your game account to your Quest address! Please contact each game’s support for more troubleshooting.
The Rewards
We received feedback that the old reward system in Quest 3 was too complicated – so we’re excited to share that now, there’s only one reward pool (still 5M SUI)! And in addition to that, the rewards are higher for the top ranked players in order to better reflect the effort it takes to be successful in Quest 3.
The higher you rank, the bigger the reward! View the tiered rewards structure below:
Those that rank after 10,000 will receive a flat 25 SUI until the remainder of the reward pool is claimed.
QuestPass and Quest Points
SuiFrens holders who invite a new Quester with a referral code will receive:
50 points per referral when the referred participant obtains a non-zero score on the Quest Leaderboard
1000 points per referral when the referred participant qualifies for a Quest 3 SUI reward
Please note that Questers can only earn points from a maximum of 100 referrals. If you have referred more than 100 people, your score will reflect the 100 referrals that result in the highest amount of points.
QuestPass holders who invite a new Quester with a referral code will receive:
40 points per referral when the referred participant obtains a non-zero score on the Quest Leaderboard
800 points per referral when the referred participant qualifies for a Quest 3 SUI reward
Note that QuestPass holders can increase their points per referral by holding a SuiFren in their wallet at any time – and if they do, any Quest points acquired from referrals will increase retroactively.
Minimum Requirements for Rewards Eligibility
Participants must hold at least one SuiFren OR QuestPass
Participants must interact with at least three of the 10 participating dApps
Participants must reach at least 2,500 points, of which 800 points minimum must be from game interactions (meaning that your score cannot solely be earned from referrals)
